So last time I was really actively blogging was JULY. Yes thats right. I left you all stranded, with no warning, BY YOURSELF, for 5 months!
So where have I been?
Don't even know where to begin.
I got promoted at my job which is turn has taken me from working like 30 hours a week to working about 44.
Watching/caring for James has become increasingly more difficult as I think he has hit his "terrible twos" six months early. I went from having this sweet baby to having this defiant, tough, always saying "NO!" boy. LOL. needless to say I can devote about a weeks worth of posts about dealing with James and how we are using our attachment parenting lifestyle in "disciplining" our child.
Oh and in the midst of all that we are M O V I N G!!! Yes we are finally getting out of our small apartment. We are moving into a house!! Literally doubling the square feet, gaining 3 extra rooms, getting our own backyard and so much more!! We move in January 1 so it will be a while before you get to see the pics of our awesome new house!
Okay so basically I've just been busy. But now please accept my apology as I am trying to dedicate more time to you lovely people and more effort.
So I leave the rest of this post with just a bunch of pictures that I would have shared with you originally had I been blogging.
So hey here it goes(i THINK these are in order from oldest to newest):

Christmas Number Two
This Christmas will be James second Christmas. Of course last year he was only six months old so I've kind of been counting this as his first "real" Christmas. He kinda gets it he kinda doesn't. He loves that we have a "tree" in our house. He loves reading books about "anta" and going "ho, ho, ho". But does he really get it?
No lol.
I'm sure Christmas morning he will still be more interested in the wrapping paper and boxes rather than the presents themselves.
He had no idea why I had him drop his letter to "anta" in a mailbox.
He has no idea why we have a stuffed animal elf that moves every night.
And I'm sure he won't understand why we leave a plate of cookies out for "anta" on Christmas Eve.
However I do know one day he will get it. One day he will understand the magic of Christmas and he may even want to look at pictures of him doing it when he was younger. For that reason(and many many others) is why I try to let James experience Christmas to the fullest.
No lol.

Zaycon Foods-The new way to eat!
How does Zaycon Foods manage to provide such high quality super fresh meat and produce to its customers at such low prices? The answer is strength in numbers. And not our numbers, yours!
Zaycon Foods can sell its products at bulk rate prices to individual consumers and families because our unique sales event business model brings lots of people together, adding all their purchasing power into a combined bulk food purchase. And when you buy as part of a group that’s committing to such a large purchase, the power is in the hands of the purchaser! It’s the ultimate group buy in terms of both price and consumer empowerment.
You can pre-select exactly what you want to order from a given Zaycon sales event – sometimes you may want to stock up on our amazing meaty back ribs and sometimes it might be all about the Zaycon bacon – and then, on the day of the sales event, you and a whole big bunch of your neighbors will find yourselves in a nearby parking lot watching as an entire tractor trailer’s worth of high quality natural food is unloaded into all of your cars! You will be amazed at how quickly one of our refrigerated trucks goes from being filled with natural, fresh chicken or hundreds of gallons of grade A non-homogenized milk to being empty and back on its way to the farm!
A Zaycon Foods truck sales event often lasts less time than you would spend on a trip to the grocery store, yet you will leave with a whole lot more food than you’d get at the market, and for much better prices, too!
When you use the Zaycon Foods sales event as your preferred place to purchase meats, milk, and any of our other fine products, you get advantages even beyond the bulk pricing that comes with our special sales model. You also have the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you’re going to get! A trip to the grocery store can involve wasted time wandering around looking for various foods spread out across the store; at a Zaycon Foods parking lot meat truck delivery (or milk or berries or fish delivery, too!) you have pre-ordered your foods, so all you have to do is show up and wait for our friendly staffers and volunteers to load up your car.
Also, unlike in the grocery store, the prices you will pay for a Zaycon Foods product are locked in on our website, so you will know how much you are going to spend before you have committed to a purchase.
At a supermarket, you might pay one price for chicken on one day, and then a higher price on another day. With Zaycon, you decide that you want to order a case of our fresh boneless skinless chicken breasts, you check the price and then you commit to it, knowing that from that moment on, we are committed to getting you your fresh, natural food!

Nuby Mommy Bloggers: Wacky Ware Bowl Review!
"Nûby™ Wacky Ware™ has been designed to put the fun back into feeding and help with the transition to independent feeding. The microwave safe Wacky Ware™ Bowl is colorful fun and functional to use and has a lid that seals tightly to prevent spills and store food. The easy to hold handles are designed with a soft-grip material that is perfectly shaped and comfortable for little hands to grip, helping them transition from weaning to independent feeding."
I can't even describe how much I love this bowl. This is my go-to bowl for James snacks because of the lid. The lid fits so perfectly that I know all its contents won't spill all over the diaper bag. What's great about this bowl is that it is also microwave safe. Oh and the lid seals so tightly that it is safe for food storing too!
I love this bowl also because of how sturdy it is. You can tell it was made with the idea that it would be thrown around a lot. James has dropped this so many times and ours still looks brand new!!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!
1. Water
Taken when we went to the beach because my cousin is in town
2. Empty
My families new favorite thing to do is Geocache. We knew we wanted my cousin to love it as well so we decided to take her on a few trips to Geocache. After opening this we made it "empty" while writing our name on the paper. You can read all about Geocaching here.
3. Fresh
Because my cousin is in town and my nieces and nephews are on spring break we took a trip to Largo Central Park this week. Here is a picture of them in the "fresh" air.
4. Weathered
Again, taken when we went to the beach. I thought the wood the pelican was sitting on looks pretty weathered to me :)
5. Ordinary
These railroad tracks may look ordinary but they are actually made for a smaller train that gives rides to children around Largo Central Park.

Nuby Non-Drip™ 3-Stage Grow Nurser Review!
Since James is 9 months old we have been on a search to find a sippy cup that he would actually use. We have gone through many types before we found one that James would actually use. Thanks to my friends at Nuby, they solved that for me.
This is what Nuby has to say about this sippy cup:
"The Nûby™ 3 Stage Grow Nurser can be used from birth through to toddler. This unique feeding system starts as a bottle with the patented variable flow Non-Drip™ Nipple that features anti-colic valves to reduce the risk of colic and teething nubs to massage baby’s gums. The nipple is easy to use and prevents spills and leaks. As your baby begins to develop and grow, the easy grip handles are easily attached so they can start to feed themselves. The soft, silicone No-Spill™ Spout (included) replaces the nipple as your child begins the transition from bottle feeding to cups. No drips! No Spills! No mess! All smiles!"
What I love about this bottle/sippy cup is the handles. Because there is a handle on each side it makes it much easier for James to tip up on his own. He loves the independence!
In this picture above James decided to take a break from his Nuby cup filled with water to play with his Nuby IcyBite Keys!

Le Petite Birdie Review and Giveaway!
I am always looking for great local run companies! Often times I find a lot of unique cute things on easy, and I love the fact that they are made just by "normal" people. When browsing baby items one day I fell in love with Le Petite Birdie! Literally they have the cutest bib patterns ever!
The etsy shop has a lot of other cute things though, besides the bibs! Some things are: a ruffle diaper cover, a teething toy, leg warmers and hair clips!

Bloggers Corner, Guest Post: On a Breath
Recently a blog mom I follow suffered the terrible loss of her 14-month-old son, Patrick. Any time I hear of a mother losing her child, a part of my heart breaks for her.. but something she said on her page made me hurt even more. She posted a photo of her son looking out the window and said something to the effect of, “You recently learned to wave, I just didn’t realize those were goodbye waves.”
That post alone, despite the story of how she found her son, or any of the other heart breaking posts, that post made me sob.
In December a friend shared a poem with me, and it was all about how babies don’t keep. In completely inspired my second blog, Elliot365.wordpress.com. That blog is one of daily posts all about my little boy. I wanted to fill it full of pictures and stories as he grew so that I’d have it to look back on later.
In my “about” page on that blog I said, “You can never get this day back. Firsts only happen once. One day he will be too big to wear. His baby breath and “new scent” only last for a while. His screams and squeals will eventually become words, then sentences. His gummy smile will soon be full of teeth. Sooner or later he won’t want to fall asleep nuzzled in my arms. Someday he will call me Mom instead of Mama or Mommy. Babies don’t keep. Not every memory lasts a lifetime. And not every picture is worth a thousand words. For those reasons, we are going to blog every day for 365 days, sharing pictures and stories of Elliot, as he grows into a little boy. This year will take us through his first words, his first steps, his first birthday, his first vacation, and all kinds of other firsts in between. We want to capture them all.”
For me, that blog is..or was..all about preserving these days, these firsts, with Elliot. Because babies grow so fast don’t they?
But what about when they don’t? For me that blog was about cherishing this time we have because he’s going to grow up…and that post today made me realize that I need to be cherishing this time even more than I do because what if he doesn’t?
I guess my point with all of this is to say- cherish your babies. Whether they’re real babies, fur babies, or grown babies. Cherish them. Hold them close, and give them an extra snuggle today. You never know how long you’re going to have them. A life isn’t measure in its length, but in its breath, so make sure that that the breath you share with your baby is a deep one.
Here is the poem that inspired my 365 blog.
Mother, O’ Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth.
Hang out the washing, make up the bed,
Sew on a button and butter the bread.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I’ve grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue,
Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due,
Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek – peekaboo.
The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew,
And out in the yard there’s a hullabaloo.
But I’m playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren’t his eyes the most wonderful hue?
Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo.
The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
But children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.

Nuby Loopy Lites Review!
If you have "liked" our Facebook page then this news isn't new to you. If you haven't liked the page you can do so here. Anyways, I (along with some other awesome mom bloggers) have been chosen as a 2013 Nuby Mommy Blogger. You can see all the awesome bogs here. So what this means is I have partnered up with Nuby to bring you the latest information, great product reviews and some giveaways! I even have my own pinterest board on the Nuby USA Pinterest page which you can see here. I have loved Nuby products since well before James was born. Now my love has only grown! Below I am posting my first review, of the Nuby Loopy Lites!
This is what Nuby has to say about the Nuby Loopy Lites: "The Nûby™ Loopy Lites™ is designed to stimulate your baby's hand and eye co-ordination. The bright lights and fun sounds will keep your baby entertained for hours, while the hard and soft surfaces are great for younger children to teethe on. The small lightweight toy makes it easy for little hands to hold making it small in size but big on fun!"
I loved this product since the moment I saw it on the Nuby Website! I loved the colors, plus the sounds it makes! I love how well it fits in the diaper bag and takes up very little room. We love bringing this product to restaurants with us because the noises it makes is great at distracting a crying baby! James love that he can grab the handles all by himself. I love that the sounds it makes don't get super loud like some other baby toys, which makes it less annoying than some other baby toys.
Want to check Nuby out for yourself? They would love for you to follow them in all the forms below
What's your favorite Nuby Product?
