Yummi Pouch Review/Giveaway!

Weather your a mom or not you've probably seen those food pouches somewhere in life. The ones that kids can squeeze and get the food right out of. I know for bigger kids they are great for on the go. Since I make my own baby food I wasn't really able to have the luxury of taking food I make with me everywhere, UNTIL NOW! Yummi Pouch has created something that is perfect for all moms. You can put whatever you want in a resealable pouch, and take it with you! It's super easy and kids love feeding themselves. On the Yummi Pouch website they actually have a lot of great recipes for snacks on the go, or you can use your own! For this review I used one of my favorite baby food recipes from their site, the mixed mango puree, which James loved!

• 1/2 mango (peeled)
• 1/2 ripe banana
• 1 ripe peach (remove skin and pit)

Instructions:

• Add fruits to a blender and blend until smooth.
• Add water a little at a time if your baby needs a thinner consistency.
• Serve as a puree or mix into your baby's cereal or other grain.

So I mixed that up and just put it into the Yummi Pouch. On the Yummi Pouch website they have a starter set, which I think is the best deal. I got to try the dry erase marker and loved it because I was able to write the date on the pouch and what was inside. I also really liked the fact that you could put them in the dishwasher. That was a really easy clean up after the fact. What was also a really neat feature about the pouches is that they work with the Boon Dispensing Spoon, which was really nice since James is only 8 months old he can't quite squeeze the pouch himself, without getting it E V E R Y W H E R E. So it's nice that I can still feed him with the pouches! Until he gets a bit older and can do it on his own!
